2020 It was an ideal day on paper, dry sunny with a brisk westerly wind to blow you home. However the 2020 Chase The Sun was cancelled, and only two riders reported for the route on Saturday, so there was only one known attempt on Sunday. Feeble excuses were given for the abandonment in Pewsey (underprepared, setting out too late due to rain in Burnham at 4am, not eating Saturday night, wild camping as hotels closed for Covid 19, no legs).
