2021   A hard day, the easterlies that assisted the Saturday east to west continued on Sunday and only briefly changed to cross winds midway on the ride. From late afternoon they strengthened with gusts up to 25mph, it took effort cycling downhill to the Abbey hotel close to midnight. Fortunately rain forecast for Burnham in the morning had shifted a few hours forwards, catching out the later Saturday arrivals into Burnham but making for a dry Sunday.
