2023 On paper the forecast was perfect, cross winds from the south in the morning and tail wind from about midday. Slight delay in the morning dealing with a puncture, and caught up with Jim Bennett on the top of Cheddar gorge who was cycling home along the route on a fully laden bike. However despite good effort and no delays with stops or mechanicals it was ~2pm when we were at half way in Reading. It would mean having to do my best 100 from that point but the legs were not there as nausea had stopped me eating properly the previous night. No photos from Sunday but I have added some from google and Saturday night.
