2022   More feeble excuses for bailing from the only known participant. After arriving in Burnham and shopping the B&B had ceased trading, sent packing in the rain and cold at ~8pm finding alternative accommodation at 9.30pm causing a late meal and late night.

Later arrivals in Burnham had heavy rain and west country 'summer' temps of 10C to contend with, resulting in numerous abandonments due to hypothermia. Fortunately in the morning it was dry, but another day of easterlies scuppering progress, rain jacket rattling in the cross headwinds too cold v too slow. The dreaded nausea unable to recover the legs - Latte's did not work FWIW.
